Mai is facing off against the creator of Duel Monsters in the fight of her life. Although she has a strong belief in the heart of the cards after countless defeats by Yu Gi, Mai is on her last 1200 life points.
She draws the card "Megamorph" and attempts to use it on her harpy lady. However, this activates a strange trap card on her opponent's side and the card's power is directed at Mai herself instead of her monster.
