It was the Academy Awards and a terrible tragedy had just occurred. A mysterious photographer had managed to inflate several of the silver screen's greatest stars into massive balloons. Then the inflated actresses floated off into the sky, where the winds soon took them in many directions across Los Angeles.
Some found themselves floating amongst the skyscrapers of the downtown city, whilst others were soon spotted flying high above the Hollywood sign. It would take several hours for the authorities to get them back down to earth and deflated.
For those few it was a harrowing, magical, and once-in-a-lifetime experience that they would surely never forget.
