Oscar Flight: The Prequel

It was April 4th 1960, the night of the 32nd Academy Awards in Los Angeles and Hollywood's best and brightest were on the red carpet. Flash bulbs lit up from the press as they took photos of this incredible night.

One bright flash of light was not like the others however. Instead of a blinding white, it was a bright blue. The camera took it's position and chose it's first target, a stunning actress with short blonde hair, whose face adorned a thousand posters.

A blue flash, and then it turned to take another target.

Another.

And another.

The blue flash took many young starlets. Then hell broke loose.

The stunning blonde was the first to notice that her stomach was quickly swelling outwards. Her inflating body tore out of her dress and she began to gently float above the ground.

Others began to inflate and within minutes, half of the female guests were floating just above the heads of the panicking actors and reporters, as naked as the day they were born.

The culprit turned and slipped away into the crowd unnoticed by all.

Except, that is, for a famed cowboy who tackled the culprit and put him in an arm-lock to hand into the arriving police and emergency services.
